Any intending member shall apply for any of the categories of membership in writing.
All applicants shall sign a declaration form as prescribed in the bye-laws after it has been determined and confirmed by the Registration Sub-committee that the applicant is eligible for enrollment as a member of that particular category.
The membership of the Association is categorized as follows: -
Fellow Members shall be new members who shall have fulfilled all the requirements for membership, and they shall remain so for the first three years. Promotion to full membership will be determined by standards and ethics sub-committee and the end of the third year for recommendation to the Executive Council, who has shall in turn announce such promotion of the member to the Annual General Meeting.
Honorary Members shall be persons who the Governing Council shall have considered as eligible for honorary membership by virtue of their eminence in art, science, literature; and/or those whose contribution by way of services rendered to the Association or its associated institutional members shall have been recognized and so declared by the Association.
Full Members shall be persons who shall have practiced after qualifying as Fellow Members of the Association for three years, and who shall have fulfilled all such conditions as prescribed in the bye-laws of the Association.
Life Members shall be those full or founder members who will apply and be so recommended by the Governing Council and approved by members at the AGM to be life members, and after paying the prescribed fee. This fee will be payable only once.
Corporate Members shall be institutions that shall be declared to be Corporate Members of the Association in accordance with our constitution.
Founder Members shall be all persons and/or their firms who were duly registered as at 31st July 2004.
